Meet The Team

Hi, I'm Michael. I am the owner of and a lead photographer at Michael Rhodes Photography. I have been a professional photographer for years and absolutely love what I do: capturing images at my photo studio in Strongsville, wedding photography, engagement sessions, senior pics, headshots, and tintypes.

Interesting facts: I started my journey with the wetplate (tintype) process about 20 years ago by making cases for my former business, Modern Day Antique. Having my own tintype made sparked my interest to learn the craft of tintype photography. I transitioned from making cases to taking tintypes about 9 years ago. I am one of the few tintype photographers who have a traveling dark room to work events outside of the studio. As a Civil War reenactor, I portray a camp photographer.
